Heyyyyyyyy Reader❤️

Alright, you've done the heavy lifting by pulling all those debts together—I know it wasn’t the most exciting thing to do! But with that out the way and everything laid out, it’s time to turn up the heat a lil’. This step is all about figuring out how much extra cash you can throw at those debts to clear them out, fasssssssssssss!

Let me paint a picture with some simple math, something every single mom can relate to. Imagine you’re juggling the usual expenses: rent, groceries, car note, and then there’s that pesky credit card bill from last Christmas still hanging around - Ughhhhh.

Here’s a look at a typical scenario:

-Total monthly income: $3,000

- Essential expenses (rent, utilities, food, car note): $2,200

- Minimum debt payments: $400

- What’s left for play or pay? $400

That $400 could just sit in your account, or it could be the sledgehammer that smashes your debt faster. What if you used it to tackle that high-interest credit card first? I honestly prefer the smallest balance first, but both work wonders for your financial situation. Each dollar you pay over the minimum saves you money on interest and gets you out of debt quicker.

Now, let’s put that into action:

1. Identify the easiest target: Which debt has the smallest balance or highest interest? That’s your first target.

2. Adjust as you go: Some months you might find extra money (like a tax refund, money from a friend or a bonus from work). Throw that at your debt too. Every little bit helps.

3. Keep your lifestyle in check: The more you can avoid splurging now, the sooner you’ll be living a better life.

Feeling overwhelmed? Don’t. This is about taking control, one dollar at a time. You are the boss. You’ve already shown you’re capable by gathering all your debts. Now let’s use that same strength to start knocking them out.
